Up-to-date with the Surf Ranch
It has been awhile since my last post, as we have been SUPER busy, planning and building the Surf Ranch Resort. I now find myself with some time, and would like to give you all an update.
We now have the funds and are on track to finish enough of the resort to pre-open this December. The full grand opening will be in the summer of 2012, around 9 months away. The same amount of time it takes to create a baby. This is our baby, and we have 9 months until it is born.
9 months to be ready. But our 3 month timeline looks like this.
By December 31st 2011 – we will have the following.
- 2 story restaurant and 1 bar on each floor.
- Swimming pool with a swim up bar.
- 3 villas complete
- 5 condo units complete
- Shuttle van to and from town.
- Skate park possibly finished.
This gives us enough to cater up to 16 people and fine tune everything to the smallest detail, in regards to staff, menu, shuttle circuit, prices, etc…
The full grand opening next year will see 6 villas, 15 condo rooms (catering up to 54 guests a night, and 250+ for parties), restaurant, pool, 3 bars, air conditioned gym, 40 ft rock-climbing wall, skatepark, skate – surf and bike shops, launch ramp into an acrobag, and service to all the extreme sports we offer. This will be the place to play.
