SURF RANCH · SAN JUAN DEL SUR

Surf Ranch day pass or overnight stay?

Compare what your payment buys, how long you need the room, and when food and drink credit makes sense for a day by the pool.

What the two prices buy

A day-pass prepayment reserves available poolside space for the chosen date and converts in full to food and drink credit. Adults 13+ prepay US$15, children 2–12 US$10 and under-twos are free. The credit expires on the visit date, and extra consumption is paid separately.

A direct room booking gives you a place to sleep, breakfast and access to resort facilities. Check-in begins at 2 pm and checkout is by noon. The room rate depends on your dates, guests and room type. Use the booking total with tax when comparing it with a day visit.

Standard room 13 — twin bedroom with desk

Case one: a local family coming for lunch

Two parents and two children aged 2–12 want a Saturday swim and lunch, then plan to sleep at home. Their day-pass prepayment is US$50, all credited toward food and drinks. Look for an available table for four and compare the menus before paying.

If they want an arrival nap in their own private room, the priority changes. Check the one-night condo total for four instead of treating the day-pass credit as a room payment. A condo has two queen beds and a patio.

Case two: a couple who want a slow Sunday

Two adults coming just for Saturday would prepay US$30 on day passes. If they want Saturday dinner, a bed for the night and Sunday breakfast before heading home, a standard room for two fits that schedule. Check whether a queen or twin configuration is available.

With the breakfast room rate, add Saturday lunch, dinner and drinks to your estimate separately. For two adults, the direct all-inclusive upgrade is US$80 plus tax per night, with coverage from 2 pm on arrival through noon at checkout. Check the final room total before choosing.
