Two adults and two kids
Choose the condo if everyone is comfortable with the two queens. Compare the villa if the children go to bed earlier and you want a separate room and a place to sit.
SURF RANCH · SAN JUAN DEL SUR
Both sleep four. The difference shows up when one person wants to sleep and someone else wants to talk. Compare the bedrooms, patio and shared space before choosing your dates.

CONDO · TWO QUEEN BEDS
A condo sleeps up to four, with two queen beds and a private patio. Two parents can take one queen and two kids can share the other. Three friends can also fit if two are willing to share. Four friends who each want their own bed will need another arrangement.
The gallery shows several condos. Some have rooftop patios, and other units have a patio off the sleeping area. If a rooftop or a particular room arrangement is essential, verify the available unit with reception.

VILLA · TWO BEDROOMS
The SJDS villa sleeps up to four across two bedrooms, with a living area and rooftop terrace. Two couples can take one bedroom each and keep the sitting area for everyone. Parents can put children to bed in one room and read or talk outside that room afterward.
For an early surf session, leave tomorrow’s gear in the living area so you can get ready without going back into a shared bedroom. If your group needs a particular bed configuration, ask about the available villa before reserving.

COMPARE THE WHOLE STAY
Both categories have A/C, Wi-Fi, a private bathroom and access to the resort pool, waterslide, skatepark and gym. Direct bookings include breakfast. Choose the meal plan independently of the unit so the price comparison shows what the extra space would cost.
Enter the same adults, children and dates for both room types. Compare the total including tax and use the exact room listing to confirm the layout. A party of six could compare a four-person unit plus a standard room for two. Check that both are available for every night of the trip.

For guaranteed bedroom separation, start with the villa’s two-bedroom layout. Two standard queen rooms are another way to give each couple their own bathroom.
If each person wants their own bed, compare two standard twin rooms. When the group is happy sharing beds, price the condo and decide whether the villa’s living area is worth the difference.
