VISITING FOR THE DAY

A pool day without an overnight stay

If you’re staying elsewhere, choose your date and poolside space on the day-pass map. The full entry price goes toward your food and drinks. The splash pad, waterslide and skatepark give the family more than one way to spend the afternoon.

PLANNING YOUR STAY

Pool days or beach days?

If most meals will be at the resort, compare the all-inclusive plan. If you’ll spend your days exploring town and the beaches, a room with breakfast may fit better. The resort is inland; our surf packages include return transport to the beach for lessons.

Can two adults and two kids share one room?

Yes. For one shared sleeping space, book a condo with two queen beds. If the kids go to bed early and you want a separate bedroom, compare a villa for the same dates. Enter all four guests when checking availability.

What would all-inclusive add for our family?

Direct room bookings include breakfast. For two adults and two children at the child rate, the all-inclusive upgrade adds US$140 plus tax per night for the family. That covers three meals and the included drinks from 2 pm at check-in until noon at checkout.

A first night and a last morning with kids

A one-night stay has two different rhythms. Here’s a way to plan around check-in at 2 pm and checkout by noon.

Condo at Surf Ranch

Arrival afternoon · Keep the bags together

In a condo, both queen beds share a room and the private patio gives you somewhere to sit outside. Pick the villa instead if a younger child naps while everyone else is awake. Early access depends on availability, so ask on arrival before planning a nap around your room.

A group session in the skate bowl

Pool break · Bring siblings back together

For kids with different interests, plan a splash-pad session and a turn at the skatepark. Skateboards and helmets can be rented onsite. An adult needs to supervise around the water and activity areas. If one adult is taking everyone, pick one activity at a time.

Breakfast overlooking the resort pool

Departure morning · Plan around noon

Breakfast is included when booking direct. Leave time for breakfast and packing before checkout. If you add all-inclusive, coverage ends at noon on departure day, so plan any later meals separately.

If grandparents are joining

For two parents, two kids and two grandparents, compare a condo or villa for the family of four plus a standard room for the other two adults. The standard can have a queen or twin-bed configuration. Check the actual layout for your dates, especially if your relatives want separate beds.

Enter everyone in the booking search, compare the total with tax and check the cancellation and date-change terms before payment. Full payment confirms the booking.

Rice, beans and plantains served at Surf Ranch

One family, two very different meal plans

For two adults and two children at the child rate, two nights of the all-inclusive upgrade total US$280 plus tax. Picture your middle day: if everyone wants lunch after the splash pad and dinner at the resort, both meals fit the plan. If you’ve already promised dinner by the bay, allow for that restaurant bill separately.

For a child with a food allergy, contact the team before paying. Give the ingredient and ask what the kitchen can prepare for your dates. A meal-plan description alone cannot confirm preparation for a particular allergy.
